Just a quick FYI that the WordPress Harrisburg Twitter account has changed from @WordPressHBG to @WPHarrisburg. If you were following the old account, you’ll should be automatically be following the new one.
February Meetup

In case you forgot, the next WordPress Harrisburg meetup is less than a week away. We will be meeting in our usual place, the Abbey Bar at ABC around 7PM on Wednesday February 10th.
I’ve decided to do a WordPress Bible Study of sorts this month. If you have a copy, bring it along to discuss and share with others. And… *if* I can get a second copy by next Wednesday, I will be giving it away to one lucky person at the meetup. That’s right, show up drop your name in a hat and have a chance at winning your very own copy of this very impressive book.
So, if you want to hang out and chat WordPress and maybe win a copy of the WordPress Bible, drag your butt to the WordPress Harrisburg meetup next Wednesday.
January Meetup

January’s meetup will be held at our usual place– the Abbey Bar at ABC. It will be held on Wednesday January 13th at 7PM.
Since 2.9 has been released, I’d like to just leave an open forum for everybody to discuss. Have you upgraded, if not, why not? What features do you like in 2.9? Any issued you’ve had in 2.9… you get the point. Bring your laptop, there’s Wi-Fi usually available and if you’re having issues with WordPress, we’ll try and fix them for you.

After a few month hiatus, there will finally be a new meetup. December’s meetup will be held at the Abbey Bar at ABC. It will be held on Wednesday December 9th at 7PM.

July Meetup

Tonight is the July meetup. Don’t forget. If you plan to show up, please leave a comment. I’ll see everybody out on the deck at the Abbey Bar at ABC tonight around 7PM.
I know there’s WordPress users in the area, but I don’t know where you’re hiding. Its time to come out and meet some other locals that develop, design for, or just use WordPress. We’re meeting tomorrow at 7PM at the Abbey Bar @ ABC. If the weather holds out, we’ll be out on the deck.
Our first meeup will be an informal mixer to meet others in the area and determine what everybody wants to get out of the group. If you haven’t heard, I also agreed to pick up the drink tab for the first event. You’d better have a pretty good reason for not coming out. Oh, and I’ve also been told there’s some sort of free concert after the event is over.
